Q: How do I know if McAfee’s Patch 11 for VirusScan has been installed on my computer?

A: Right-click on the VirusScan shield icon on the Windows tool bar task bar and select “About VirusScan…” from the pop-up menu. Your patch version will be displayed in the information window that appears.

A: Patch 11 is available at http://its.vanderbilt.edu/antivirus/downloads. Click on the “download now” link for VirusScan 8.0i. Patch 11 is included in the download.

A: Spy Sweeper Consumer supports Windows 98 SE, Windows ME (both require Internet Explorer 6 w/ SP1), NT 4, 2000, and XP. A 350 MHz CPU is recommended. At least 256 MB of memory is recommended.
