ITS Help Desk
If you're having computer problems, the ITS Help Desk may be able to help. Problems we can help with include remote access issues, problems connecting to the Vanderbilt network, and virus and spyware issues. We can also assist with several email clients, web browsers and some desktop applications.

Depending on the problem, you may be asked to bring your computer to the Hill Center Help Desk area for assistance. Walk-In hours are posted below.
Do not bring your computer before calling or emailing the Help Desk. Many problems can be resolved over the phone.

During Exams, Summer, and Breaks.
Phone Assistance 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday
During the Academic Year
By Phone 8 a.m. - 12 a.m. (Midnight) Monday thru Thursday

Online Problem Submission
You can submit a problem to the ITS Help Desk online by clicking here. The Help Desk staff will respond by email as soon as possible.
NOTE: If you have a problem requiring immediate attention (e.g., you believe your computer is infected with a virus) or to report a network outage, contact the Help Desk via telephone at 615 (34)3-9999 during scheduled Help Desk hours.
If You Bring Your Computer In
In addition to your laptop computer, remember to bring:
- power cord or adapter
- any "dongle" required to attach an Ethernet cord or phone line to the computer's Ethernet card or modem
Note: You do not need to bring docking station unless you are having problems with the docking station or when the computer is in the docking station.
If you're bringing a desktop computer, bring only the CPU (the "box"), power cord and, if applicable, dongle. The Help Desk has monitors, keyboards, and mice available for use while working on walk-in computers.
