Users of the Secure File Transfer Application (Accellion) will be excited to know that the application is being upgraded.  The upgrade will occur July 11^th at 6pm. There will be a minimal downtime of 10 to 15 minutes to load the new Login Screen.   

The Login Screen will look a bit different but function the same; for Vanderbilt users it is the user’s email address and ePassword; for outside users it is their email address and password established.  

The New Features will include collaborative tools that many of your teams may desire:

• Secure workspaces which allow flexible file sharing capabilities;
• Users can review, comment, upload, and download files;
• Get real-time notifications: and
• Track file versions to increase business productivity. 

The current features will remain the same with web application of Secure File Transfers and no change to the plug-in for Outlook is required.
