ITS will be performing maintenance on the Java Application Hosting Service tonight, Monday, October 19, between the hours of 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM. During this time, the following services will be briefly unavailable.

ITS will be installing Microsoft security patches to Windows servers on Sunday, October 18, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM. During this time, the following systems will experience a rolling outage while a reboot is performed.

We are currently experiencing a problem with VUMC email and we're investigating.

VUMC email service has been restored.

ITS will be installing OS security patches to the web server environment between the hours of 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM on Sunday, October 11. During this time, hosts will experience an outage (~5 minutes) as each server is rebooted.

Beginning Friday, October 9 at 9:00 PM until Saturday, October 10 at 2:00 AM, ITS will be replacing the existing "IDM" firewalls with a more robust upgraded new pair of firewalls. This is a replacement of equipment and involves no changes to the network (re: IP addressing, network configurations, etc).

This evening, Tuesday, October 6 at 10:00 PM until 1:00 AM, ITS will be performing two changes:

1. Disable the SMBv2 to resolve a security vulnerability. This will cause a brief outage to each of the Exchange servers.

On Friday, October 2 from 9PM until Saturday, October 3 at 9 AM there will be an outage to the Vanderbilt Identity Management System in support of the new VUnetID for life system. Users will be unable to perform any of the following actions during thisoutage:
