Taj Wolff
Taj Wolff is the Director of End User Services. She is responsible for end user support services such as the Help Desk, residential network (ResNet) support, second level technical support (Partner Support), desktop support for the Division of Administration, collaboration services and telephone repair. Communication services include telephone, voice mail, cell phone, voice applications, service and provisioning. Each year her team manages communications design and implementation on construction projects valued at over $400 million.
Taj began her career in 1981 at The Computer Shoppe, a startup computer reseller in Nashville, Tennessee. She worked as a Trainer and Customer Support Representative, and later as Purchasing Manager and Store Manager. The Computer Shoppe was acquired by Service Merchandise in 1983 and the company continued to grow and add stores in Kentucky, Tennesee, Arkansas and Alabama. In 1988 Taj accepted the position of Account Manager for Tennessee with NEC Information Systems. She was responsible for major accounts and NEC dealers throughout the state.
In December, 1990, Taj began her Vanderbilt career as Sales Manager for the Vanderbilt Computer Store. She was promoted to Store Manager in 1995 and continued in that role until the Store closed in May 1999.
She moved to ITS (formerly ACIS) as a Residential Network Coordinator in May 1999 and took on the role of User Services Coordinator in 2004.
Taj holds a Bachelors degree in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene College. She also has certificates in Group Facilitation Methods, Leading in Any Situation, Alphabet Soup, Vanderbilt Leadership Development Forum 1993 (now Leadership Vanderbilt) and ITS Mid-Management Training. She has Foundation Certification in IT Service Management (ITIL).
