(Juniper Network Connect). Those users should switch to using the Juniper Junos Pulse SSL VPN.

ITS provisioned Lync standard accounts for all current Vanderbilt faculty, staff and graduate and professional students. To use Lync for instant messaging, presence and basic conferencing,simply install the client and login.
From this point forward, anyone joining Vanderbilt in the above classifications will have an account provisioned as part of the VUnet ID activation process in the AccessVU system.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to announce that on Monday, November 5, 2012, Vanderbilt Identity Services team will release AccessVU. AccessVU is an extensive upgrade to the Identity Management system. The upgrade will require an outage to the identity management tools. Beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2012, until Monday, November 5, 2012, at 6:00 AM all identity management services will be offline. During this time any emergency changes (ePassword change, account creation, reauth, etc…) must be performed by the Identity Management team.

On November 5, 2012, Vanderbilt Identity Services will release AccessVU, the upgrade to the Identity Management system. The date was postponed from its originally intended October release. This upgrade will feature multiple enhancements to VSA (VUnet Services Administrator) roles, new functionality and new onboarding workflows. This requires all VSAs be trained on the new Identity Management tools.
