ITS is happy to offer a few different options for SharePoint training, based on requests, to meet different needs. The most popular options are the end user and power user training, although we also have administrator and developer training.
Self-Paced End User and Power User Training
Five one-hour long classes geared to end users and power users are available through SkillSoft. ITS has purchased a limited number of licenses for these courses, so these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no cost to the community for use of these licenses.
The Power User courses include:

Instructor Led Power User Training
ITS is also facilitating an instructor led course, taught by ASPE. This course is hosted periodically at the Hill Center for Vanderbilt staff members. This course is geared towards power users, or those who have to frequently manipulate site content. ITS charges to recover the cost of this course, which currently runs $977.50 per person. For questions, to register for the course, or to request a full course syllabus, please email merritt.chandler@vanderbilt.edu.
Administrator and Developer Training
Other options for administrators and developers are also available. Some of these are also in SkillSoft, the self-paced resource mentioned above. There are courses, but also books, searchable within that module for reference.
Another option is Microsoft’s IT Academy courses.
