The VUspace Mounter Utility is a program that can automatically mount your VUspace. Once mounted, your VUspace can be accessed by double-clicking on the icon, named after your VUnetID, on your desktop. To most of your programs, your network drive will appear and function like a local drive. Just imagine that your VUspace is like an attached disk when reading from and saving to your VUspace.

You can use the VUspace mounter utility from any networked computer on campus. When you are finished using your VUspace from a public computer (such as one in a lab), you should unmount your VUspace before you leave the computer. That way, the next person who uses the computer does not have access to your VUspace. To unmount your VUspace, just click on the Unmount my VUspace button.
